Wanda's Wish is a great Lake Texoma getaway that is a peaceful, country home and is centrally located to many of the local attractions. Choctaw Casino is an easy 10 min drive. Lake Texoma is a short drive, with Johnson Creek and Willow Springs being approx. 8 miles away. The city of Durant is 6 miles east. A cozy vacation getaway...perfect for your family. Sleeps 5-7. Blow up mattress available upon request. NOTE: Wifi is currently not available in our area..hopefully coming soon!

We absolutely loved staying here! The pictures honestly do not do it justice. 6 of us stayed comfortably. Showers were great. Beds were comfy. Availability of amenities was superior. Location was quiet and close to lots to do. I hope we can return soon!

Peaceful stay
I grew up in rural Oklahoma-a country girl at heart. When I needed a place to stay in the Durant area for my college graduation, this was perfect. Very peaceful. Mornings were perfect sipping coffee on the front porch in the shade and enjoying the breeze. This was good for the soul. Property was clean and spacious. Very accommodating. The owner (Darrell) was pleasant and easy to talk to. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Graduation Trip
Daughter was graduating with her Masters and I was wanting us all to stay together. This was a great place to do that. The only problem we had was the tv which would not connect to our hotspot so we were unable to watch anything but a few local stations. The fan in one of the rooms would not work. The house was very nicely decorated and had all that was needed for our short stay.

My family fished Texhoma this weekend and this was the perfect peaceful place to rest before hitting the lake again. The home was easy to locate and park our boat. The home was clean and well stocked for our needs. Thank you for letting us visit.

The little things
This is a great place to stay for a Lake Texoma fishing trip. Five minutes from the lake. Room for parking. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. There were a lot of little extras here that you don't usually find at other places. We'll be back here every time we come to Texoma!

Great value!
Just good country living. Not fancy but very cute decorations. It’s an older house in need of some TLC but well worth the price and had everything you could possibly need. If your expecting fancy, this isn’t it. However, if your expecting a quiet, clean, comfortable place then you can’t lose with this one! The owners are very kind and receptive to your needs! Thank you for sending your husband out to fix the heat and for all the extra thought you put into this place.

We really enjoyed the weekend at this house. It was very clean, well maintained, and well organized. Many nice touches throughout the house to make us feel at home. The snack basket and coffee came in very handy, and was greatly appreciated. It's definately good value for the money. Highly recommended.

5 minutes from Lake Texoma, 30 minutes from where we hunted. Wanda's Wish is s very cute home, very roomy and clean. Marcy was a great host. We will be back!

Anniversary Weekend
It was a nice, peaceful weekend. We very much enjoyed the lovely snacks, access to Netflix, and being close to everything we wanted to do over the weekend. Would definitely stay here again.
