“There are not enough words or space allowed to describe this wonderful destination. The Birdhouse and its owner, Dana, is one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had. The house is so clean, comfortable and has everything you need. From the tasty goodies in our welcome basket to the expansive screened porch to watch the river flow by. Kayaks, a charcoal grill, hammock, firepit and chairs on the dock to sit and have your morning coffee. What a great place to unwind, unplug, relax and take in……

“Very beautiful peaceful place. If you're not sure about this one, trust me it's THE one. Had fun fishing and feeding the turtles. We took the canoe out and went to the lake, saw a couple of otters playing and emu island was a very very nice surprise. The bed was super soft and everything felt inviting. The cottage is a really nice size with a lot of beautiful lighting. Even though it doesn't have a stove it literally has everything else that you would ever need, plus the larger refrigerator……

“Love the large clean room with 2 recliners and a couch. Handy to have a kitchen with dishes and utensils, stove and a large refrigerator with an icemaker. You can walk right out your door and go sit by the water and enjoy the view. We have been here 3 times and will be back.”
