"We spent a wonderful week in La Mer Old City Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. The location is fantastic, we saw the Ayia Kiriaki church from our window. The Sea of Marmara and U3 train is 3 minutes on foot. The main attractions of Istanbul are also very close.

"I loved staying at this hotel, one of the best hotels in Istanbul. I came here after staying at a different place that wasn’t clean and seemed unsafe I’m so glad I transferred here. "A great place to stay. My 3rd time in Istanbul and i will definitley come back to Sura again. A beautiful courtyard makes this place rather special. Specious rooms, well equiped gym (although a proper spinning bike would have been a good addition), nice breakfast with a wide choice of food for any taste. But especially i would like to mention the service. It was impacable. Any request was dealt with promptly with politness and profesionalism and a big smile. What not to like. "
"Excellent location, walkable to all major attractions such as Sultanahmet Square, Grand Bazaar and T1 tram stations. Hotel very well maintained and very quiet because it is located in a small side street. However, we did not get our bottle water and coffee replenishment in our room 2 days in a row. We stay in this hotel for a total of 4 nights and we really loved it."
