![All Saints Church is the parish church for Selsley in Gloucestershire. Construction took place in 1861-62. The church contains William Morris's first commission for ecclesiastical stained glass. The distinctive saddleback tower is over a hundred feet easily catching the changing Cotswolds light on its French Gothic gables: the last of the great Cotswold wool churches, and the first to exhibit work of the English Arts and Craft movement. Would be even better if kitchen had more equipment/number of cups and bowls to cater for a group of 6\. Also, the single bedroom without any curtain or blind, lightbulbs with no lamps and no locks on bathrooms made it feel a little unfinished. "Overall it was a lovely place to stay, and the staff were great and food fantastic. We had a room in the main house on the top floor, overlooking the garden. However we did leave a day early because we had two sleepless nights on a overly firm mattress and thin lumpy pillows. When you wake up at 2am, 4am and 6am, and are tossing and turning because you can't get comfy does spoil a lovely stay. Simply better pillows and a good mattress topper would make the world of difference. I'm not sure reception staff when i noted it saying 'no one has complained before', doesn't mean previous guests haven't felt the same! If you love firm mattresses where the springs dig it, you'll have great time.... saying all that the staff we met were fantastic and food we had was great quality and served with care and attention especially taking accont allergies! "

"Friendly check in with Dylan and Aiden. Modern style hotel, very spacious. With a health club and spa which we didn’t have time to use but we could see people arriving to make use of. Good size restaurant and bar area. Menu a little limited for the restaurant but it was okay. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom clean although shower not very powerful. It was an overnight stop so more than okay for that. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

A couple of little things made it 4 stars not 5- we only had one towel between two of us, the water pressure from the tap was very poor, the lights seemed to not be working all fully, and we couldn’t seem to turn the extractor fan off completely! But the bed was comfy enough and the room was clean. The room was also quiet, we had no road noise. "
