"Some friends and I took a golf trip to play the RTJ courses. The house was clean and the location was close to our courses. Beds were comfortable and everything worked great."

"Overall the stay wasn’t bad. The beds were nice, the house was clean, and it has plenty of cookware, cups,plates,bowls, and silverware. The only thing is, and I believe it came from wear and tear; everything was broke. The light in the kitchen was hanging, the drawer in the kitchen was broke off. Literally face of the drawer was just sitting in the drawer. The kitchen cabinet was broke off. We opened the cabinet door, and it hit one of our mothers in the face. The water pressure in the downstairs shower is very low, and lastly the neighborhood looks scary. It is definitely run down. But even with all that said those things were really minor. The house fully functions, we had no issues with the neighbors, it is conveniently located, and overall we had no issues. If they fix the things that were broken it goes from a good stay, to a great stay."

"First bad review I've ever left. Traveled with students for a conference, and this house appeared perfect for us. Arrived 6:00 p.m. ish and closer we came to the house, the sketchier the neighborhoods got, but we ignored that. House is the last one on a dead end street and another house across from it. They have done an amazing job remodeling the house. We didn't have any complaints about the inside of the house other than very large roaches, spiders, wasps and waking up about 3:00 a.m. to blaring, pounding music coming from a car at the house behind. No other issues yet.. Gone all day and didn't return until around 7:00 p.m. Sreets were much busier and there was a van at the end of the road with its lights on facing us. It stayed there the entire time we were parking and getting unloaded. When I came back out an hour later to go pick up another student, the van was parked 3 inches away from my back bumper in the driveway. Long story short...renters wouldn't do anything and neither would the police. I finally got it out and drove through the yard to get the student. We got back to drug deals and parties across the street. People were all over out in the yard. I told the students to pack up and we were going to a hotel. It was a horrible environment to be in. I called the renter # and they apologized and said they would call back. Just an email saying I parked in the neighbor's drive..not their problem. Refuse to refund two nights."

"Our group had a wonderful time in Birmingham. Our property was very close the golf courses we were playing, the airport, and downtown. The house was set up for a family type vacation. Plenty of room to sleep and gather. Outdoor patio nice and clean. A few apartment buildings close to the house.."

"The property was great for my daughter and I to have a mommy & me weekend. The house was so cute and stocked with everything you would need."

"The home is conveniently located near the highway for easy access around town. The inside was clean, well stocked kitchen (bowls, utensils, etc.), and lots of clean towels. Laundry is located off the back porch so hard to find, but not a problem after you know where it is and how to get into it. Neighborhood feels a little up and coming when you drive in, but everyone is friendly, we BBQ'd outside multiple nights with people walking/stopping by to say hello, and never felt unsafe. I would stay here again if ever back in Birmingham."
