"What a beautiful house! Gorgeous 16th-century craftsmanship with modern upgrades and comforts. Quiet, peaceful, and very private. As for the location, we couldn't have chosen a better spot in the Albaycin. The house is just around the corner from Plaza Larga, and everything we needed was within a two-minute walk: daily produce market, seafood shop, supermarket, butcher shop, bakeries, pharmacy, restaurants, etc. It felt like a more local area, a little bit away from the tourist craziness. "The well appointed rustic dwelling was ideal and well equipped. The view was fantastic. The host was very friendly and helpful Our only problem was our failure to notice that the pool was shared with the host and his other small letting on the site. This turned out not to be a problem at all."

"Stefan and Naomi have created a little paradise in this authentically rebuilt village house. The (shared) rooftop patio, cave jacuzzi (bit too cool in october) and garden courtyard were magical and the units were very well finished. The unit was larger than pictures suggested. "Our 2 week stay in Victoria's house in the old quarter of Granada was amazing. The view from the living room window and roof-top deck of the Alhambra was fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the beds were very comfortable. The house was conveniently located to explore the Alhambra, Sacramonte and downtown."

"If Oliver's place is available, book it! We had a relaxing holiday among the orange and lemon trees. The house is extremely clean and well stocked. We had so much fun playing badminton, using the pool, exploring the grounds, and relaxing in the sunshine. Oliver's suggestions for local hikes are spot on - we hiked each day of our stay. The walk to town is safe and feasible during the day - after our first night we used our car for trips at night. We can't wait to return!"

"Location was outstanding. Walking distance to all the major city sites, neighborhoods and restaurants. Apartment was really well furnished and quite comfortable. Great place. Only negative is the noise. Location is on a busy street so traffic noise late into the night with the younger crowd leaving bars until 5 am."

"A very spacious 3 bedroom house with lovely enclosed courtyard and sun terrace. Very well equipped. Lounge was very comfortable. There is parking in a nearby garage (make sure you are shown where it is and how to access). Very convenient and easy drive to Alhambra. We parked there on a couple of occasions and walked down to the city. Only a 7 euro taxi ride from city to parking (note: we were quoted 15 euros for the ride by FreeNow....they didn't turn up so we flagged a taxi down and it was half...

"Everything about this place was great. The location is lovely and the views are spectacular. The apartment is really spacious, comfortable and clean, with big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a full kitchen and a lovely big private balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. "Great week at Casa Azahar. The house is very special. It was difficult to choose a favourite space in such an interesting and comfortable property. The interior patio, pool room, terraces, sitting room and of course the pool were all fantastic. Walks in surrounding area and proximity to Grenada add to the attraction of Casa Azahar."

"The shower head connection to the wall is unstable. The socket is loose and does not hold the shower head in position. The shower connection from the middle of the tub is impractical since it is in the way when trying to take a shower. Overall, place is very well designed except for the shower upstairs and downstairs against sloped ceiling... Not great for tall people. Also, upstairs tub is a slipping hazard when trying to work with the in the way shower head and connection."
