The location just by the water is dreamy and we appreciated that it was a little bit away from all the other hotels and restaurants. Nice and calm area with a short walk to other beach bars, restaurants etc. We had to have an early check out to get to the flight and missed out on the breakfast, but they packed us three(!) generous boxes with sandwiches,...

"the resort is beautiful and the staff are polite and generous. the food at breakfast is great. in home dining is low quality cooking but still high priced. once anything breaks it takes a long time for anyone to fix. 6 days and they still didnt fix the jacuzzi, the indoor pool is 28 degrees although they promise higher. on the whole it is an excellent resort due to the staff but maintenance is bad. the resort is far from the main attractions so pools and amenities should be taking care of."

The view from our suite's balcony was gorgeous, and the hotel management truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted - both in the hotel and even outside the hotel with things like getting the very best with restaurants/transportation. "Great location in the old town, plenty of shops and restaurants around. We got the room in the top floor, very unique and big with a wonderful view of the sea. The hotel provided free parking just outside the walls which was helpful. "

"Fabulous old hotel inside the old city walls. Renovated, but showing some wear. Location, staff and breakfast were excellent. Note that some websites claim that this hotel offers parking or a sauna; both are false. Nearest parking is 1km away and 2€ per hour. We stayed in a deluxe suite on the top floor and loved it. Highly recommended, but pricey."
