An apartment in a renovated antique house, shaded by centuries-old trees and looking out over the Tuscan countryside, dotted with vineyards and olive groves. This stunning apartment, which sleeps 4 people, is a picture-perfect holiday destination at any time of year.

On the lower floor, the apartment has a charming paved terrace with outside seating area for relaxing al fresco. Large French windows bring you into the open-plan living/dining area. This spacious room has traditional chestnut beamed ceilings and tiled floors. It has been tastefully decorated with a sofa, flatscreen TV, antique furniture, including a dining table and chairs, plus an open fireplace. The separate kitchen, which also has a door directly onto the terrace, is well equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and Nespresso machine.

Outside, at the end of the terrace, there is a children’s play area, a shared wood-burning pizza oven and a shared BBQ. These are shared with the upstairs apartment.

Location
The house is wonderfully placed between the Valdichiana and the Val d\'Orcia, just 1km from the centre of the Etruscan town of Montepulciano. Montepulciano is world-famous for its excellent wine and there are many wine cellars where you can taste it. The historic centre is a medieval pearl rich in history and culture, events and traditions.

Other delightful day trips include Chianciano Terme (20 minutes), where you can pamper yourself with spa treatments; Pienza (20 minutes), a UNESCO world heritage site, at the beginning of the Val d\'Orcia and the city of Siena (50 minutes), one of the jewels of Tuscany, famous for the medieval joust, \"The Palio di Siena\", which is run on 2nd July and 16th August.

For fashion lovers the Valdichiana Outlet Village (25 minutes) is full of the biggest designer names at lower prices.
