"The pool and hot tub were excellent. Beds were average to above average. King-size bed is really a Queen. Comfortably sleeps 10 upstairs and 11downstairs. Living room furniture is ready for replacement along with the patio chairs. It was fun being able to get 8 chairs around the table for food and games. Appliances, kitchen items and linens were perfect. Loved having a good washing machine and dryer. Overall, loved being there. Would love to stay there again sometime."

"We fished, kayaked, visited Alexandria’s independent book store and relaxed surrounded by bird sounds. The northern light display soaking in the hot tub pretty much sums it up. For three days we saw no others on the lake. Cabin has that up north Minnesota feel. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were traveling but kept in touch. Thank You"

"We had two families stay here with adults and kids age 15 months to 10 years old. This was perfect for all of our needs with ample bunk beds and space. The kids loved the outside space and had plenty of room to play inside when it rained. We had a boat and this is on a cul-de-sac so we could easily turn around! I would highly recommend staying here! The kitchen is well stocked and the washer/dryer was so helpful with wet swim suits and towels."

"This is a fantastic home with caring and considerate hosts. This is a perfect annual gathering space for 9 adult siblings and some children and grandchildren. The heated garage with a counter and tables/chairs is a bonus that gave us lots of conversation areas and lots of space to spread out. 2025 will be our third year here. Thank you to Jim and Twyla!"

"I cannot express how much we enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was immaculately clean and the items that were provided, which were a lot, were top notch. It was located close to the water and the public dock. We were able to easily walk to the dock and fish. The center of town was just down the road so it made getting groceries and shopping easy. Other cities and adventures were just a short drive away. I felt comfortable that the local hospital was right there in case something...

"Loved the new hot tub and all the nice little touches throughout the home. Fully stocked toiletries and the snacks and refreshments were above and beyond what we see in most VRBOs. The hot tub was brand new and proved to be most relaxing on a cool spring evening. We didn't expect this added feature as it was added after we booked. Owner was very responsive and professional. If we're ever in the area again, despite having only one bathroom, we'd definitely stay again."
