The saying of don't judge a book by it's cover definitely applies here. Inside was a spavious well thought out area with all thatyou need to stay. The owner was very helpful and had great advice. The only small area to improve would be a shelf for the bathroom.

Really happy with the service. Rooms are clean and much better than the exterior lets on. Excellent stay indeed. The pub up the road (overlander) is also excellent and a 5 minute walk.

This is an exceedingly spacious unit, with separate living room and bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped. The shower had excellent water pressure. I was very pleasantly surprised, as it doesn’t look anything special from the outside.

Owner / manager was really friendly and offered lots of good advice for our travel route. Road was noisy during the day but the bed was comfortable so I didn’t really notice it at night. Room was large for 2 adults and 2 kids. Would stay again.

Older building but the rooms were a surprise - spacious, clean and fitted out with all the usual amenities. Quality towels. Bed very comfortable leading to a good night sleep. Air con was old and noisy but during my stay - fortunately was not needed Check-in was painless and quick, the owner very helpful with good advice for nearby dining. Motel easy to find and served the purpose. Would stay there again.

From the outside we were a bit concerned but as they say “never judge a book by its cover”. The room was actually a suite with a separate lounge/dining area. Through a door you are in the bedroom which of course has an ensuite. There is a back door which leads into a large, lovely backyard with a pool. This is also where you can access the free washing machine and outdoor clothes line. The property is obviously old but Iris and her husband made use feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Horrible experience -would not recommend
This was a textbook example of when someone is over the top nice and then kicks you out of your room so that they can put someone else in there at a higher rate. What an absolutely horrible way to be treated after driving over 1000km to enjoy the Isa, such a disappointing way to be treated. Was lied to about a fire alarm inspection being undertaken and the property has NO fire alarms installed. This is the absolute worst experience and no warning as to being kicked out of the motel. Glad my children experienced this as they would never believe people can be this nice to your face and then kick you out onto the street. Would not recommend at all. Thanks for nothing at all.

Although dated, the accomodation was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. It suited us perfectly for an overnighter and we will stay again.
