We actually didn’t realise it was all self check-in /out when we booked. You don’t get to meet staff. All instructions are sent to you. Down side was that we were only provided with one large towel and two small ones and when we contacted the property we got no response. We also made them aware that the door handle was loose. Car parking was close by. "The photos and description bore zero resemblance to the reality see photos - I suspect they were AI generated. There was no cottage! It was a run down mobile home with a dirty outside bathtub. It was damp and smelled of smoke, with a non working fridge and no smoke alarm. The only positive was that the shower pressure and temperature was ok. I have reported the listing to expedia so hopefully they will take it down ASAP."
