8.8/10 Excellent! (1,003 reviews)
When we first arrived, it became clear that the staff seriously needs training on how to treat customers regardless. There was some sort of rudeness from the staff during both check-in and checkout. While the rules they mentioned might be true, the way they explained them was not welcoming —for example: ‘World of Hyatt doesn’t matter, whether Discoverist or Globalist, you have to leave at 10 AM.’ We never felt welcomed for highly-rated, luxury ski resort property. The staff member insisted on asking us certain confirmations. They really need more self-confidence, and their boss needs to coach them.
At checkout, I asked for a receipt and wanted to confirm if I had been charged a resort fee. The receptionist said I hadn’t been charged a resort fee and would print my receipt. However, another staff member stepped in and said, ‘We don’t give receipts here. You should get answers to your questions by calling Hyatt. She then prevented the other staff member from answering my questions.
We found the room clean, but the furniture on the balcony was very dusty. We wanted to use the washer and dryer, but unfortunately, there was an underwear left in the dryer from a previous guest, so we did not use the dryer in the room.
