You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Semi-rural self contained studio

We want to welcome you to our cosy studio, with a wonderful view of the Taradale hills set on a 2-acre lifestyle property. It is situated next to the main house, with only a short walk along the front lawn bringing you to your own private entrance. Off-street parking for your personal car with a garage available for vintage cars/motorbikes/bikes etc. There is a small storage shed for bikes etc by the studio. The studio contains a queen bed with an electric blanket for the winter. Small TV provided and wi-fi available. Small kitchenette area with table/chairs, small fridge, air fryer, electric frying pan, microwave, toaster and jug. Bathroom with shower and toilet.

We also have 3 lovely rescue donkeys Minnie, Loo Loo and Peter. If you would like to meet them during your stay please let us know and we can take you for a visit.

We live on-site and work from home, so we are often available for questions and are happy to help you over a cup of coffee. If you are here for a particular event we would be glad to drop off and pick-up, if available, to do so.
Beauty therapist also on site.

We are close to Taradale, Napier city and handy to Hastings, Havelock North which brings with them, many wineries/ good food, attractions, beaches, and cycle tracks.

Please note extra cleaning procedures will be taken place between visitors.

Fantastic Stay!

I had a fabulous time at Michelle’s place. She was very friendly and responsive and I enjoyed having an opportunity to feed her rescue donkeys as well. What a memorable experience!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was comfortable and peaceful with all facilities as you would expect. Bed was comfortable and hosts were very friendly and obliging - even allowing us to use their own washing machine.A good price for a very good unit not far from Napier. We would highly recommend.

Nice semi-rural studio cottage.

Arrival instructions were accurate and easy to follow, thoughtfully set out. Location suited an event at Mission. Excellent but suggest soap is provided.

Bike the vineyards.

Enjoyable stay, well equipped cottage. Loved being out in the country with view across the farmland adjacent. Great to have secure place for bike. Sadly it rained the day we planned cycling but lovely coffee in Taradale as a substitute.

This has everything you’ll need

I came from Auckland to visit my mother in law in the rest home. This location was so handy, the place was clean, with a good sized fridge in the kitchenette with absolutely everything you could possibly need to self cater, even an air fryer, which I love using at home. The host was lovely and I really liked those extra touches that made me feel welcome.

Christmas with 4 generations of family

Spent Christmas with my wife's family. The studio was tranquil which we needed at the end of each day with the family. Family was only 5 minutes away which made travel easy and quick. Weather was very humid even at night. We were thankful for the fan, however it was inadequate so sleep was poor.

great value for money stay

Just a short drive from town but peaceful in the country, we had a very relaxing 5 night stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we required. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchenette looked like it had what was required for basic meal prep with a microwave and bench top cooker and a bar fridge. The bathroom was again equipped with the basics and the shower had good water pressure and was a good size. Everything was clean and tidy. The wifi wasn't great but the rural setting was probably to blame (same as at our home) so not an issue for us. This was a great place to stay but don't want to rate it too highly else it might be all booked up if we want to come back for another stay 😁😀

Great accommodation on edge of Napier

Peaceful location outside Napier but easy access by car (Robyn very kindly ran us into town for an event). Lovely accommodation with seating outside to watch the sun go down. Would book again.
