It was such a nice little getaway for some rest, relaxation, & A/C! The owner and manager of this Bed & Breakfast were so helpful. They checked on us multiple times. The breakfast was yummy. It was nice to have a good hot meal. The gentleman that served us both days was so kind and cheerful and always made sure we had enough to eat! Our room was roomy and cozy with a big bathroom! 10/10 would totally recommend!! Michelle welcomed us with an easy check-in process and answered our questions about sights to see in the area. Our room was lovely - historically charming plus all the modern amenities such as coffee service, snacks, and a souvenir mug! Friendly, very responsive and accommodating hosts - even during a pandemic with local requirements changing daily, the host was knowledgeable and informative upon check-in. Exceptionally clean; beautifully restored (on National Historic Register) and uniquely decorated. The room included all the personal extra touches you may need or desire, from light refreshments and snacks to plenty of extra linens and towels to personal thermostat, dishes, and many trash receptacles. With only one other guest room (across the hall), there are multiple shared parlors, balconies, and patios and it truly felt like we had the entire home to ourselves. Location is spot on (and located on one of the prettiest blocks) and the entire downtown district is very walkable. It is impeccably clean. After seeing the sites in town it was like going home, not to a room, but home. Drinks and snacks were provided which was and unexpected plus. It is conveniently located. The home was within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. The lady that checked us in was very nice and professional. The property owner was great.
