Perfect spot to sit in the river! Guadalupe River Retreat is the perfect place to relax, unwind and make memories. Brand new and right on the river you can't get better than this. Come see what God's Secret Paradise has to offer. It is the ideal destination to enjoy the river and the breathtaking views of the Texas Hill Country. Go tubing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, or fishing right out the front door. The Horseshoe and the Whitewater Amphitheater are a few miles away from the house. This makes it super convenient for those Whitewater concerts and floating the river. You have river access right outside the house. Step inside this tiny home and you'll love the open kitchen/living room as it offers a beautiful view of the river. The owners put a lot of thought into comfort and versatility. There are two bedrooms. Downstairs is a queen bedroom and upstairs in the loft there are two full beds overlooking the river. There is one full bathroom and a beautiful front deck draped with outdoor lights facing the river. It sleeps 6 comfortably. It is also minutes away from Canyon Lake, downtown New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn, Comal River, Gruene and Wimberley. 5 miles to the most popular places on River Road- River Rose Tavern, Lone Star Float House, & WhiteWater Amphitheater. Right next door to Gypsy River Resort. There are also many wineries and distilleries to visit. Enjoy tubing in the summer, fishing in winter, & Wurstfest in November! We had a great time at the house and property, I wished we had booked just one more day! We stayed 2 nights, my husband and I, my sister and brother-in-law. The house was very nice and very clean, we had everything we needed. No complaints at all. The river is right there, just a short walk down. There is plenty of shade. We sat with our chairs in the water, then took the tubes out and floated a bit. We bbq'd one night and made a fire in the firepit on both nights and sat around listening to music, had drinks. We went to a tubing service company and floated for 2-3 hours, loved that. The beds were comfy. I let my sister take the bedroom and my husband and I took the loft, the loft has low ceilings but It's mainly to sleep or lay in bed. We liked it, slept very well. I would definitely recommend this rental, the house, property and river access was perfect! I seriously cannot think of one negative thing. We have been coming to the river with a group of friends for over 12 years. We used to rent camp but as we’ve gotten older we find that we much more enjoy the cabin life and all of the comforts it provides. This tiny home cabin was just perfect for the 6 of us and literally had every single thing we could’ve dreamed of. The location on the water is fantastic and if you want to float, Gypsy River is right next door to rent tubes from. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided not to check out and stay an extra day just because we could! Communication with the owner was top notch. I will definitely be referring this one to our friends and family and it will now become our new “river home” for our annual float trips! ##### Eva C. The house is absolutely adorable and just as pictures show. The location on the river is the absolute best. Perfect to just walk down and sit in the river and relax. Only issue we had was a strong sulphur smell to the water in the house which was not the best for kids to overlook the smell to shower but that was the only thing to even improve if possible. The positioning on the property also has another house on the river. A little awkward at first with the tenants of that house thinking we were trespassing but we cleared that up ;) there is plenty of bank space and seating for both house guests. This was the perfect little house for myself and 3 girlfriends. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The views were amazing. We loved having access to the river and were able to hangout there after we floated the river during the day. I can't wait to bring my family soon. Great house for kids, the loft is really cool, they will love it. Hosts are great a keeping up with communication. We were a little nervous renting a tiny house with our 3 teenage boys (19, 17, 15) but there was no need to worry! The house is small but is laid out so well, we never felt cramped or crowded. It is the cutest tiny home. Perfectly clean. My girls LOVED the loft for them to sleep in. All communication with the owners was prompt and so sweet. The property is gorgeous!
