We were in New Orleans for a cruise. This hotel is convenient to the port. Everything is charged to your room. It is a cashless hotel. Which is an inconvenience to the ones that does not like charging everything to a card. For valet parking is 50$ a day. They put a 371$ hold on my credit card, on top of the 429$ I already paid. They took the 371$ out of my card and the accountant will not return my phone call. I will not be back at this hotel, I will find another if we ever come to New Orleans again!

We arrived in New Orleans around noon and were unable to check in early due to no rooms being available BUT the hotel did offer storage for our bags so we were able to begin our vacation without any delay. The staff was always welcoming (good morning/evening greetings from everyone we encountered) and check out was a breeze.
Wish there was a parking area that was included or include the parking fee in your prices.

Flight delays/cancellations affected our travel and the hotel had given our room away by the time we arrived. Incidental fees were not clearly communicated during the booking process; it was a large amount of money for a several-night stay, so this would have been nice to know about in advance. The staff did their best to correct these issues, but it did sour the experience for us.

The ONLY place to stay if you have a conference at the convention center. Walkable, safe, large, comfortable rooms. The only hiccup I had was my next door neighbors doing weed so my room smelled like it my last night. Put a towel under the door and I was golden.

The hotel is visibly clean and ita the only reason for a fairly good review. The front desk staff needs customer service training. The lady that checked me in was unfriendly and dismissive. My keycard stopped working multiple times throughout my 3 night stay which was very inconvenient. The mac and cheese from the restaurant was very bland. Also their incidental rates are very high. $225usd was taken from my account which doesn't get return same time at check out but rather 2-3 business days later.

Only reason it didn’t give an excellent is that I had ask for a roll shower with two queen beds for my wheelchair bound daughter. I even received a text telling me that they would reserve a room like that for me. We had a regular room with two queens. When I talked to the front desk they said that they would try to get one ready (it was being cleaned) in just a little bit. We waited two hours before we could unpack and relax in the room that we had. However, the next day they did give us a room with a roll in shower annd a King bed . I believe it may have been a junior suite., I appreciated it. All the staff was very nice and helpful . I always stay at Hilton Garden Inn‘s if possible. I always find them safe and clean.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The room was not clean, however, and the bathroom sink did not drain. The toilet would also surge and spray water very randomly. I had to keep a towel by the toilet to wipe it down before use. I was going to request a room change but had colleagues also staying at the hotel and they experienced all the same issues.

The staff was lovely and allowed us to check in way before posted check in time, and let us keep our luggage there after we checkout because we had an evening return flight. <20 minute walk to all the popular tourist destinations.
