Was a very older hotel, but was suitable.

Very nice boutique hotel in the center of town with great dining.

We stayed at Margaritaville on the Island for 3 nights. May 16- May 19. The location was perfect however the room not so much. The staff was not as helpful or accommodating as you would have thought for a $400.00 per night room. The floor in the room had pieces missing out of the flooring. We had hoped to use the fireplace but it is not available to use after May 1, though they had the fireplace in the lobby working. I booked and paid in full for this room 3 months in advance and called periodically to attempt to get a room with a better view and was told nothing was available and they could not help me however while we were there we found that several of the rooms with views were empty. It was my birthday trip and while at the desk I mentioned it was my birthday and was told I could have some free candy. The clerk suggested that I could have it because it was free not because it was my birthday. I had to request that our room be cleaned after the second day and the only thing that was done was the bed was made. Dirty dishes from some food we had ordered were never removed from the kitchen area. We looked so forward to this trip and we wanted to love this hotel, but we did not.
