"The Lodge was everything we were anticipating. It was clean, the kitchen had all the needed plates, cups, pots, silver, appliances, etc., the TV and satellite service worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable, the heating/cooling worked well, and it has incredible views of the lake. We saw bald eagles everyday. The trees were changing colors and beautiful. It was quiet and relaxing. We strongly recommend the Lodge! "

"This place is truly amazing!We stayed here with family, and the home has so much to offer. It’s in a perfect location—not too far from Minocqua and Eagle River, with beautiful hiking trails nearby.The lake is quiet and incredibly relaxing—everyone had an amazing time just hanging out on the dock, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Northwoods.This was our second Labor Day weekend in a row staying here, and we couldn’t be happier. Liz is an incredible host—kind, friendly, informative, and very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.If you're looking for a cozy, peaceful home in the Northwoods, do yourself a favor and check this place out. "Place was great! Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We rented the pontoon boat that was reasonably priced which was an added bonus. Our family enjoyed fishing, swimming and the campfires. It was a great vacation spot!"

"The included fishing boat was a main draw. My husband attached his trolling motor. Unfortunately, fishing was poor: one (decent) largemouth bass, 4 small pike, 2 small blue gills, and one small crappie for 9 sessions. Biking the Heart of Vilas trail was great. We missed the last line of the small print that stated guests need to bring their own towels, but host Jenneane came to the rescue!"

"This property was advertised as immaculate and well appointed in every room. We did not find that to be an accurate description. The cleanliness was fair…mold in the bathroom caulk…a toilet that leaked condensation on the floor…mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers…a dish drainer that needed bleach and a cleaning brush.The kitchen supplies were abysmal. If you intend to kick back and cook and eat in, it’s nearly impossible in this property: one mixing bowl….no measuring spoons or dry measuring cups…no pizza pan or cutting wheel…not one knife able to slice a loaf of bread. My list could go on and on, but you get the idea. The property sits on nice piece of wooded lakefront. But our solitude was interrupted by the blaring of music from across the channel on most days. Both fire alarms unnecessarily sounded, at different times, during our stay. We spent most of our first evening trying to connect to the internet with the WRONG INFORMATION that was given to us to sign in. This property really has great potential…and it wouldn’t take a huge investment to make it wonderful."
