"Worst night of my life. There was an alarm bell going off 5 times during the night, so I hardly had any sleep at all. When I finally gave up and left at 5am, there was nobody in the reception, otherwise I would have demanded a full refund."

"The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. "

"Charming hillside hotel with fantastic views. The room was spacious, clean, modernised with the exception of the bathroom which is still more of a traditional, dated Japanese bathroom, however, it was still very clean and of course functioning well. The Japanese breakfast in the morning was very lovely, accompanied by great views again. The lobby has a cafe where they do great latte art. There’s also a letter room where you can print photos and send letter which was a nice touch. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. One note of caution, this really is a hillside hotel, we initially planned to walk because google map says it was 16 minutes but it would be quite a trek up hill with very narrow paths so driving / taxi would be the way to go and there’s a taxi rank at the station which would be about a 10 mins journey and <1500 yen. "Comfortable, clean room. Perfectly situated for a night's stay before cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Staff were very friendly and a great help with luggage forwarding. "
"The room was wonderful and clean. But the pillows were very thin. You need to get softer, thicker pillows. Everything else was great. We will stay there again if we are ever back that way. "
