Don't stay here
Had problems from the minute I got into Ocean City. Asked to check in at 4 and was told I could not because unit was being cleaned. Being it was the day before Thanksgiving I thought this was odd because Ocean City itself was a ghost town already. Directions did not indicate there were multiple buildings. Another tenant was double parked ln my reserved space and guest services told me to leave a note on the car asking them to move. Outside door was banged up and filthy and didn't really look like a safe outside door. Door access code didn't work so I had to call guest services again to locate a spare key. Then when we walked into the unit it smelled of mildew like clothes had been left in the washer for months. Bedspreads were stained and there was mold in bathrooms. The freezer had rusty shelves and the fridge vent was broken off. Nails in walls with no pictures hanging on them. After 15 minutes we were both feeling very ill from the smell and left the property and stayed in a hotel one night and came home early. There is no local property manager though guest services kept saying they would put me in touch with them. I spent the weekend at home trying to get in contact with someone in the area to request a refund and kept getting the runaround until finally after talking to at least 8 people through the app and threatening to leave bad reviews everywhere some manager finally "alerted the local team who agreed to a refund." I would give zero stars if I could.
