The house is in a very quiet place, ideal for rest and relax fully in Nature. But is also around all necessary services. The area is ideal for walking and cycling. The beaches are found in a protected landscape and are supervised. The landscapes are breathtaking! In the region there are restaurants of Alentejo where traditional food abound also fish and seafood accompanied by excellent wines Alentejo.

A relaxing break

A quiet, relaxing and rustic stay in a beautiful area and great surroundings. Whilst not in Milfontes ( actually just outside Circal) it is a great centre for touring the area and visiting Milfontes, Porto Cova, Silves and many of the smaller coves and villages. The house itself was spotlessly clean and a great place for your holiday.

Super place, super host

Antonio couldn't have been more helpful with suggestions of places to visit & eat. Brilliant host. Lovely, secluded traditional style house set within a cork oak forest & farm. Great spot.

Dear António,it was a most wonderful and enjoyable holiday at your house in the middle of the lovely hills of cork oaks, next to the sheep at the lake and all the unique viewpoints you arranged with passion! On top of that, (yes - literally) every miradouro was amazing and left us speechless! We couldn’t get enough, that’s for sure! The house was clean and cozy and got everything we needed - besides one or two sun loungers would be nice to take a nap in the shade around the house. António, as you know, you are so kind and very helpful at any time and it was a pleasure to take care of the fruit trees in return! We met as new guests, left as new friends and hopefully we will meet again!Saudé,Martin and Eva(Deensen - Germany)

Peace & tranquility in rural Alentejo

We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear them. There is a private lake, with seating making it perfect for an evening drink or picnic! The private viewpoint overlooking the whole property is amazing. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and geese. There is a local bar (Cafe Primo Sergio) a 30 min walk from the house which serves good, home cooked food. The owner speaks very good English and both he and his wife are really friendly. The closest town is Cercal which is about a 10 minute drive away. It has everything you need, including an excellent bakery. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay.

Estadia simplesmente maravilhosa! Tudo estava impecável — desde a limpeza ao cuidado com cada detalhe. Para quem procura um sítio tranquilo, ideal para relaxar e reconectar com a natureza, este alojamento é perfeito. Os trilhos pela herdade, as ovelhas, o prazer de puder ir buscar uns ovos pela manhã e fazer ao pequeno almoço e o lago foram uma verdadeira aventura para as mais novas cá de casa, com 1 e 3 anos que adoraram cada momento.O Sr. António foi incansável — sempre prestável, disponível a qualquer hora, mas ao mesmo tempo respeitando totalmente a nossa privacidade. Nota-se o carinho com que cuida do espaço, feito por ele próprio, o que torna tudo ainda mais especial. Só pelo prazer de o conhecer já teria valido a pena a estadia. Sendo ainda num local tão bonito e bem cuidado, foi mesmo a combinação perfeita.Recomendo de coração. Vamos certamente voltar!

Wonderful vacation in the country side

The property was beautiful, quiet and stress free. Antonio came up to greet us after we had settled in to drop off some coffee pods ,he had left a wonderful bottle of wine and fresh pastries for us.He is a great communicator, always guick to get back to us, and had supplied multiple suggestions for places to eat,places to see and where to shop. We used his place as a base to travel the area. Lots to see from old castles, Roman ruins, to a mine tour and of course the beautiful coastal areas. A walk around the hectares of his beautiful property was a nice way to spend the morning. Also the daily visits from his chickens was enjoyable.We would love to come back.Obrigado Antonio

Ein Traum für Ruhesuchende

Idyllische Lage weitab von jedem Tourismus. Allein gelegenes Haus ohne Nachbarn, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Schöne Terrasse rund ums Haus (man kann der Sonne folgen) mit Hängematte. Ein kleiner Teich in der Nähe, etwas weiter eine Aussichtsplattform im Korkeichenwald. Neben dem Haus ein grosser Feigenbaum, an dem wir uns bedienen durften. Antonio ist ein aufmerksamer und liebevoller Gastgeber, der sehr um das wohl seine Gäste bemüht ist. Viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants, zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied Wein und süsses Gebäck und zwischendurch frische Eier aus dem nahen Hühnerstall. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und werden wohl auch wiederkommen!

Une semaine parfaite

La maison était très agréable avec la petite ville de Cercal toute proche avec toutes les commodités. À 25 min des plages environ mais ce n'est pas un problème, on y accède très vite.

Ruhiges Alentejo Häuschen

Wir haben eine sehr entspannte und ruhige Woche in Antónios Häuschen verbracht. Es ist ist alles da was man braucht und António steht immer zur Verfügung, wenn noch was gebraucht wird. Wer Ruhe und Natur mag, ist hier genau richtig. Cercal liegt etwas im Landesinnern, dessen muss man sich bewusst sein. Bis nach Vila Nova de Milfontes bzw. zum Strand sind es immer ca. 25 Minuten fahrt. Wir fanden es toll!

Reposer, dans un endroit tranquille

Magnifique . Local très agréable, dans la campagne, région du Alentejo. Après un an de travail, c'est le plus proche du paradis. Les plages, les plus belles du Portugal, n' étaient trop loin( entre 15-25km). Magnifique

Großartiger Ort für eine Auszeit

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Haus und auf dem Gelände. Alles ist mit viel Liebe ein- und hergerichetet und António ist ein toller Gastgeber, schnell erreichbar, super sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan länger geblieben waren, hätten wir nicht schon fix eine Folgeunterkunft gebucht.

Mais uma semana fantástica na propriedade do Sr. Antônio. Lugar mágico , lugar maravilhoso. A casa é fantástica ,o contacto com a natureza, o cantar dos passarinhos!! Adoramos estar aqui. Een privé paradijs op een landgoed

Als ik een cijfer van 1 tot 10 zou mogen geven zou het een 12 zijn. Het is uitzonderlijk. Een prachtig huisje op een groot landgoed waar verder niemand is. Een ochtend (of op een ander tijdstip) wandeling op het landgoed is fenomenaal. MAAR! de beschrijving van de afstanden kloppen NIET. Stranden liggen zeker niet op loop afstand. Er zijn veel stranden in de buurt, maar die zijn een klein half uurtje rijden. Geen enkel probleem maar het is goed om dat te weten. Op de kaart staat het huisje in villa Nova de Milfontes, maar het is tien minuten rijden buiten Caceres. Dat gezegd hebbend is dit huis met alles er op en er aan één grote tractatie!!

A beautiful spot!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Antonios place. He is a very kind and welcoming host and the house and its sourroundings are just wonderful. We enjoyed the calmness of the sourrounding nature and the kids loved the chicken and the sheep! The place is very comfortable and has everything you need for having a great time. Thank you, Antonio!
