Esta propiedad se encuentra en el tranquilo Rock River en Oregon, Illinois, y es perfecta para una pareja o familia para escaparse. Disfrute de la pesca desde la terraza grande o mientras está en el agua con su barco. Hay una rampa para botes disponible a solo una milla de distancia en la ciudad y en Castle Rock. Cien metros de frente de río en la casa para un conveniente atraque y facilidad de uso. La barbacoa será útil cuando desee vigilar su caña de pescar mientras prepara una deliciosa comida.

Hay dos habitaciones con dos camas cada una. El dormitorio principal tiene dos camas nuevas. ¡Son sumamente cómodos para que duermas como un bebé! El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales y hay un hide-a-bed en la sala de estar para reuniones más grandes. La cocina está completamente equipada con una mesa grande para que su grupo se reúna. La sala de estar tiene dos sofás completos y un centro de entretenimiento. Las vistas del río también se disfrutan desde la terraza acristalada y la cocina. Nuestros amistosos vecinos pueden saludarlo.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Right on the Rock River. Very clean. Lots of outside seating on the decks. Lots of towels, though we couldn’t find them at first. They were in the dining room credenza. The house is pretty well stocked with supplies. The host is very friendly and responsive. Would stay there again.

Wonderful Stay

we had such a peaceful weekend getaway here! the river views were absolutely stunning — seriously one of the best parts of the stay. the house itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked, with everything we needed to relax. communication with the owner was super fast and smooth, which made the whole experience stress-free.the only heads up is that since it’s right by the river, there were quite a few mayflies around in the evenings — but that’s just nature being nature! we stayed inside after sundown, played board games, and had a great time anyway. during the day, we bbq’d and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space.would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great 6 day stay at this property on the Rock River. Hosts were always available for questions and the location and home were very well kept. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a riverfront property location on your visit to the area. Drive to both Dixon and Oregon were short and manageable for any necessities.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood and right on the Rock River! Tanzie was a great host. Pretty much everything we needed we found was already there! Great location very close to several state parks and nature preserves. If you enjoy nature, this is a great spot to stay. Close to everything!

This property is a hidden treasure! The inside is very well kept and was exceptionally clean. There is plenty of room to spread out and the sunroom is spectacular. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and even though neighbors had parties, the noise level was only audible when we were outside. The kitchens stocked with pots, pans and dishes! We enjoyed being right by the river. We watched the bald eagles right across the river, saw a deer swim across the river and a red-headed piliated woodpecker for the first time ever. It was serene and lovely to spend time there. Tanzie was great a communicating before the trip as well as during the trip. She is a gem and really great host. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to spend there! If you want a quiet place to spend time,with the convenience of town a few minutes away, book now!

Relaxing!

Arrived early and we were told to go ahead and go in. We had a great time and it was very relaxing. The 3 decks on the river were great. There’s a few boards on the bottom deck that could probably use some work but we weren’t disappointed in the stay. We forgot some food in the refrigerator and texted Tanzie about it and she was very nice about it. Would stay there again if we were in the area.

Comfortable riverfront getaway

The place has its quirks, but it’s very clean and cozy and quite restful, with lots of spaces to relax indoors and out. Very convenient to town, with nice neighbors and lots of wildlife to enjoy.

Anniversary trip

The Rock River Hideaway was a great river house to stay in for our 35th anniversary. Clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we had bad weather and it was hard to enjoy the deck and river watch. Town is very close for supplies. Everything was great. Host was very responsive via text.

Hit the spot for our couples getaway

We (2 person couple) really enjoyed this cabin. We fished from the deck and did have some luck. Beautiful scenic and quiet location. The near by towns had need shops and cafes. Check in was very easy and all questions were answered quickly. The 'bugs' come and go with the current (as is waterfront life). Beds were cozy and the cabin was clean. We are keeping this place on our list for the future!
