"If Oliver's place is available, book it! We had a relaxing holiday among the orange and lemon trees. The house is extremely clean and well stocked. We had so much fun playing badminton, using the pool, exploring the grounds, and relaxing in the sunshine. Oliver's suggestions for local hikes are spot on - we hiked each day of our stay. The walk to town is safe and feasible during the day - after our first night we used our car for trips at night. We can't wait to return!"

"We booked 5 days stay in early June after a week in Granada. The property inside is quite basic, though clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. The expansive shaded outdoor living space and pool area are quite simply brilliant and are the reason to book this property. We essentially lived outside apart from sleeping, showers and minimal cooking. The pool is a great size and the surrounding patio area is well looked after. The view from the house over towards Almuñecar and the sea are wonderful....

"We were lucky enough to spend the month of February at Colina Tropical, and every day we congratulated each other for choosing it as our lodging. It was perfect for every age guest we had, ages 4 months to 76 years. Our family of four was there all month, with extended family members joining us for 1-2 weeks along the way. "A very spacious 3 bedroom house with lovely enclosed courtyard and sun terrace. Very well equipped. Lounge was very comfortable. There is parking in a nearby garage (make sure you are shown where it is and how to access). Very convenient and easy drive to Alhambra. We parked there on a couple of occasions and walked down to the city. Only a 7 euro taxi ride from city to parking (note: we were quoted 15 euros for the ride by FreeNow....they didn't turn up so we flagged a taxi down and it was half...

"The property was tired and needed modernisation. The dining table chairs were all cracked. There was insufficient hot water for showers. The light switches operated randomly. Three electric radiators were connected through a single extension cable. There was no microwave, kettle or toaster. The sofa was stained on the back and generally worn out.
