“The Cabin was great for my family, and pets. We spent 5 days during New Years and the house was warm and had everything you could need to stay. Just bring your food and your family. The owner is lovely, and kind. The drive up was beautiful and the land is amazing as well. We were 3 1/2 hours from the cabin and plan to book with them again.”

“This cabin has great potential, but there needs to be full disclosure and clarity about its water issues. It was charming and clean, but we were so disappointed that both the gas grill and gas fireplace on the deck were unusable. There was only one empty propane tank under the grill and nothing in the fireplace. There is a wood burning/coal fire pit that we supplied our own wood for. The host did not respond to my inquiry about whether there was an additional propane tank someplace on site....

“We managed to be lucky enough to book this cabin just as all of the leaves turned so it was like being in a painting. The land is beautiful to walk and the views are amazing. The cabin itself is very cozy and has great character. The kitchen was very convenient and I loved cooking on that stove, and the bathroom was clean and well kept as well. It was great to unplug, read, and relax for a while. Hopefully we will be able to go back again.”

“We loved this property: On the trails, close to the village, the open floor plan allowed us to all interact, the huge deck was great for hanging out! We loved the fire pit and the entire laid back "Cabin"! This is a perfect place to stay if your a rowdy, beer drinking group of MTB'ers! We have stayed in over 10 properties in East Burke every September and this was one of our favorites!!!!”

“Four of us, including our 6 year old grandson, stayed here for the 2024 total eclipse. We had a great time -- quiet and peaceful with starry nights and open views across the pond toward Jay Peak. Taking the paddle boat out on a half-frozen pond, as we waited for the eclipse, was big fun with the 6-year-old. “We enjoyed our stay. We came to ski at Burke, two couples and our adult children. It's a little further from Burke than we expected, about 15 minutes. The layout of the house was great for skiing, and storing gear. The layout and decor was great. We made a couple of big meals. The kitchen had everything we needed, was organized and labeled. We brought wood and made fires in the beautiful fireplace each night. It was great. I would definitely come again.”

“We had the most amazing stay at the beautiful cabin on Holland Pond. The property is very private and offers a lot to do between the amazing game room and kayaks and other lake gear. The views of the pond and the mountains are absolutely breathtaking. The cabin, bunk home, and game room were all very clean and stacked with everything needed for a comfortable getaway! This is by far the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at and already can’t wait to return.”

We were fortunate enough to have had 6+ inches of snow before we came so the property was covered in a blanket of pure white snow. Everything was as advertised and the property is a little gem. “Beautiful views and plenty of space in this lakeside house and cottage. There were 6 of us and the space was perfect. Even though the weather didn't cooperate we made the best of it. Lots of games and fun! Loved the porches for our morning coffee. Living area was nice and cozy with plenty of seating. We hope to return in better weather to take advantage of the private dock and firepits. Thanks for sharing with us!”
