"We only had a very short stay but found the property to be a beautiful old farmhouse with fantastic old features, lovely open fire with plenty of logs and character. Old worn stairs, exposed wooden beams and not a right angle in the place ! Nice and quiet and well out the way. Doggy was very welcome as well."

"We stayed here for my husbands 'big' birthday. Wonderful location and beautiful barn. The pooches didnt want to leave! Perfect for coming together with loved ones. Fabulous walks and perfect for chilling on the decking listening to birds and watching wildlife. Barn is well equipped, spacious, lovely fireplace and host very welcoming and helpful."

"The property was a great base for a short stay in Chester for a family of 5. We were no more than 15 minutes from some of the notable local attractions and amenities. The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13)."

"This was a real gem of a find. Centrally located with its own secure parking space. The property is well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. It has its own small terrace too - ideal for drinking coffee or a glass of wine. The hosts are welcoming and provide great information about the area and what to do. "A lovely, welcoming property, which was perfect for a catch up, with ample beds, towels and bedding, enough utensils for cooking a quick meal before relaxing with drinks on the patio, in the hot tub, in the airy living space or all of the above! Everything was well appointed and easy to find, loved the en suite wet room. The chickens provided unexpected entertainment and the neighbouring sheep and alpacas were very chill. "Perfect for exploring Chester on foot and close to the station. Lovely comfy beds but the house itself was not as clean as I would have liked and there are a few maintenance issues but nothing to spoil the stay. We had a great week there. The size of the house was perfect for our family of 5 with older teenagers, not a huge amount of living space for a bigger group though."

"We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. "Wow wow wow, we absolutely loved this little find, 'The Stable' is a beautiful place to stay, the surroundings are stunning, the accomodation is clean, beautifully furnished, excellently equipped and the host was lovely. The road leading up to the property is a bit of a bumpy one with a few potholes but the hosts prepare you for that in the well informed directions to the property. We will DEFINITELY be returning again next year, just perfect."
