Don't miss a visit to the smallest village in Europe, Moncalvo (5km) and Serralunga di Crea, also a Unesco World Heritage site (8.5km). For children, there are numerous water parks nearby, including the first tropical park in Italy (35km). For chocolate lovers a must is the town of Novi Ligure (rich in history between Liguria and Piedmont 58km) and Alba in the Langhe (68km). For those who love shopping, the famous Outlet, the largest in Europe, is 70 km away, and on the way back a stop in the wine cellars of Gavi is recommended! For lovers of trekking, there are numerous scenic routes that pass through the vineyards (Castagnole Monferrato for example) or along the park of the river Po (Casale). In September/October and November, Monferrato and the Langhe are populated by the famous wine and truffle festivals.
