"Beautiful, quaint hotel up in the hillside town of Trevi. Rustic yet ideal for our one night stay. Very friendly staff and a perfect location relative to shops and restaurants!"
Umbria, Spoleto - country estate with pool up to 15 people in panoramic position
2/10 Terrible
"Property was not as listed on the site. No WiFi, towels and bed linens were not provided, cleanliness was subpar, and a cash payment was demanded upon arrival. Check-in and check-out processes were unclear. "
"Clean, with several English speaking staff, and very close to the Basilica. The breakfast attendant, Momo, was so generous and kind when a member of our party needed some extra help. He really went above and beyond. Certainly would recommend if you value cleanliness and proximity to sights and restaurants."
"Unique and wonderful!
We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail.
The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever!

Exclusive villa with pool for weddings and retreats, wi-fi air-con

"We had the absolute best time at Il Melograno — it was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, Candida made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She and her wonderful team (and family!) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our stay and our wedding. The venue was breathtaking — the perfect setting for our small, 27-person wedding. We followed Candida’s recommendation and worked with Magie di Pasta (Davide and his team), who created the most delicious meal for our wedding and made every moment feel so special. In the days leading up to the wedding, we organized a pasta-making class right at the villa and went on local wine tastings — such a fun and memorable way to spend time with our guests before the big day.One thing to note for future guests: we definitely recommend renting cars, as the villa is tucked away in a peaceful and private area, and having a car makes it much easier to explore the surrounding region. Taxis were a bit of a struggle as it was time to check in and checkout of the villa. We’re so grateful to Candida and everyone at Il Melograno for making this experience so magical. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! "
"We stayed for just one night in the "Lu Magazzi". It was a beautiful room and looked like it had been very recently built. Everything was spotlessly clean and new. We enjoyed the breakfast with all the home produced products. We particularly loved the Torta di noci (Walnut cake). The owner provided helpful suggestions on nearby places to eat - all a short drive away in the next village. Such an idilic quiet place to stay if you are exploring the Sibilini mountains. Hearing a Eurasian scops owl calling its mother added to the atmosphere of staying on this farm."
"This hotel is fantastic !! Each room is inspired by a famous Italian artist. Breakfast is delicious and staff very friendly. I truly recommend this hotel."
"The room was clean and the staff was helpful but the room was terribly basic and needs some work. If you just need a space to sleep with no frills, it's fine. "
"We had a suite which was HUGE with a spa and fantastic valley views.
Parking on the premises if you got there first.
Ample buffet breakfast.
For such an expensive room there was no ironing board or kettle. Amazing.

"Our group of friends stayed at a beautiful house near Gualdo, perfect for both relaxing and working. The house was very well-kept, thanks to the owner and the host, who was always ready to help, answer questions, and restock items if needed.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner made in the fully stocked kitchen, then dined outside on the patio with a stunning view of the hills in Le Marche.
The house is just 6 minutes from a market, and nearby, Scarlett’s Bar at the gas station was a fun spot for lunch, espresso, and even dance parties.
This place is a real gem for anyone wanting to escape busy life. The hills and driveway are steep, which is common in this part of Italy. With five of us working online, we found good spots for Wi-Fi, and it worked well.
The host, Michele, and his mother were incredibly kind and helpful, providing excellent care and making us feel like we were in a 5-star home. We can’t wait to come back!

"Loved the staff and property. Everything I thought it would be. Hiccups with WiFI but I wasn't surprised considering the area. Had several of the terme treatments, well worth it and will do it again! Alessandra at receiption was amazing! The continental breakfast was very good, cured meats, cheeses, yogurt and fruit, great bread and sweets! "
"Beautiful location in a restored hilltop Italian village. Tranquil pool area with a lovely view of the village. Good breakfast included and a nice restaurant for dinner or lunch."
