The Osceola House at Indian Pass

Is it time to unwind and leave the gridlock and stress behind? If so, you have found just the right vacation destination at Indian Pass. Osceola House is our brand new beach home, just three houses away from beach access through the sand dunes to the Gulf of Mexico. We feel that our beach is the most beautiful beach you could ever hope to find. The quaint neighborhood of Indian Pass is a delight.

Wildlife is truly abundant. Countless varieties of birds take to the skies while turtles, fox and bobcat can be seen prowling the landscape. This special place offers world class fishing and a boat ramp is just 7/10 of a mile down the road. Typically, excellent weather, friendly residents, a world class beach and two charming coastal towns (Apalachicola to the East and Port St. Joe to the West) make for the perfect, restful vacation. Great seafood is abundant whether you catch it yourself, buy retail or take the opportunity to eat out at one of the many fine restaurants in the area. At the end of the road, the Indian Pass Raw bar offers oysters any way you like them along with karaoke and front porch dancing. Kayaking is huge on the forgotten coast and horse back riding on the beach is available right down the road.

Brad was an awesome host for this well maintained and nicely equipped property. Very peaceful location with easy access to boat ramp, beach and restaurants. Did some of our meals at home and everything we needed for meal prep was provided. Great, no-hassle trip to the “forgotten coast”!

Ants
The house was full of carpenter ants crawling on walls and ceiling. Everyday there were plenty of dead ants all over the floor. I swept the first night there so we wouldn’t walk all over the ants and swept up so much dirt as well. I realized how dirty the house was. We stayed here a couple of years ago and we don't think the house has been maintained very well. The owner was nice and called to offer to have an exterminator come out, but did not offer any discount or refund so that we could stay some place without bugs. We will not be back.

Great house and location!
We have stayed in this area for several years and this was one of the best locations. It was about a 2 minute walk to path to the beach. Easy access to drive onto to beach (with permit). It also is very close to the lagoon if you want to kayak or fish there. It is a very quiet and secluded street. The beach is never very crowded and we saw dolphins in the early morning and saw a sea turtle one evening coming out of ocean. We love Indian Pass and this house was great for us.

Had another great stay at this house. The owners are quick to communicate and great to work with. The microwave stopped working during our stay and they replaced it the next day even though we said it could wait and was no big deal. The place is in a nice/small neighborhood and is located just a block from the beach. Hope to be back and stay here again soon.

The house was perfect for our family vacation! The kitchen was fantastic for cooking our family meals, the screened in porch was very nice for dining. Quite, beautiful place 5 min in walking distance from the beach. If you love being in a peaceful area, this is the place to go. Met some awesome folks in the area and visited nearby places for food and beer. I would give this location a 100. The owner of the property has been very kind and his response was always prompt. A Bit of Heaven
It was a delight to wake up every morning to the sound of a chorus of birds. We felt like we were in our own private tree house and spent lots of time on the spacious deck outside when we were not walking the beaches. This is a very comfortable house with a well equipped kitchen and restful bedrooms. It was a short walk to the dog friendly beach where we had lots of happy hours! The current at the beach is quite strong so we did not venture far from shore. (We did not really swim, just waded into shallow water.). It was not crowded so we had lots of room to enjoy the sand and surf. This was a perfect getaway for us.

We had a wonderful experience in the Osceola House. Great location on a quiet street, with houses only on one side. A short (4 minute) walk to the beach. During our time from mid Feb. to mid Mar., there was a very uncrowded beach awaiting us everyday. Brad was a wonderful host who responded every time we contacted him (which was rarely). Everything was as stated in the description.

A lovely rental in the trees, very private location, a short (5 min) walk from the beach. Beach has miles of beautiful white sand. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and clean!! A separate covered porch, and screened in porch for dining round out the outside living. Great spot!!

Great stay on Indian Pass
This is a great home on a beautiful stretch of North Florida. It's isolated and quiet but a short distance from food and shopping in both Apalachicola to the east and Port St Joe to the west. My friends and I get together every year in different locations and this one of the very best.
