Spring Acre Log Cabin

In a beautiful country setting, this log cabin offers a relaxing atmosphere and tranquil setting next to many acres of woodland with hiking trails. Located only three miles from Historic Strasburg Pa. Very close attractions include, Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater, American Music Theater, Tanger Outlets, and many thrift and antique shops.
Located in the heart of Amish country, there many places to experience the fine dining of many Amish recipes. To list a few, Katie's Kitchen, Diener's Restaurant, Agape Cafe and Grill and The Speckled Hen, just to name a few.
For a rainy day there is a pool table, air hockey table, dart board, exercise equipment, and many board games. Two large screen televisions with many movies to choose from. WIFI is not available at this time. we are trying to find a supplier that has signal in this area.

We loved this house! Was perfect for the kids inside had gates at top and bottom of stairs which was huge with the kids. Also loved the outdoor area and that it was fenced in for the kids! Close to Dutch wonderland and cherry crest farm. Ken is the best and so accommodating. Highly recommend!

Second Stay

This was our 2nd time to stay. Ken is a great host with all the accommodations you'll ever need. Location is central to everything Lancaster has to offer yet it's far enough away to enjoy the peace & quite. Great place for a large family & includes activities to entertain the kids. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great Place to Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Spring Acre Cabin! The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and extremely clean. We had children ages 4-15 with us and everyone had a great time. The gameroom downstairs is awesome! The owner is very kind and helpful. This place had a great feel and is highly recommended.

Outstanding quiet property

This place is awesome! Plenty of room for everyone. This is in the heart of Lancaster Amish country and the click dry clack of horse carriages can be heard from the spacious porch. There is a full game room in the basement and we used this as a separate bedroom with a cot that was provided. Ken was a fantastic and very friendly host. He was willing to provide anything we needed. I wish we had more time to spend here.

Another great stay at Spring Acre Log Cabin

This was our 3rd time staying at the beautiful Spring Acre Log Cabin. We absolutely love staying at this property. The property accommodated our family of 8 with no problem. The owner, Ken, is a perfect host. He treats us like old family friends. We will be back again very soon !

Beautiful, clean, kind owner

Couldnt have asked for a better location for our little wedding of some family and friends. Its a gorgeous, quiet area and the cabin was very clean, cozy, and accommodating. It is even bigger and better in person than in the photos. Ken treated us like family and made sure we had everything. We are so happy we found this property and so grateful for the kind owner!

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Ken was on site as soon as we arrived and extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. It was tucked nicely into the woods and close enough to all the attractions. Noah at sight and sound was incredible. There is so much to do and not enough time. We will most definitely be coming back to visit and hope to stay here again! Thank you Ken for a great vrbo and lancaster experience.

A great respite

We stayed here while visiting family in Lancaster County. It was wonderful to return at the end of busy days to have quiet time for ourselves. The home is beautiful, well set up for guests, everything you need in a home away from home. The wrap around porch was a bonus for the quiet evenings in this country setting. The host was vey attentive and accommodating.

A Great Christmas vacation

The Paradise cottage was the perfect place for our Christmas vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Christmas decorations. Ken was a great host, very gracious, open and kind. The location was great, in the heart of Amish country, so quiet. The cottage was warm and cozy with lots of room for everyone to enjoy.

Beautiful house

Stayed here to visit the Strasburg R.R. The house was beautiful clean and very family friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. Not too far from stores and food but just far enough to enjoy the country.

Perfect for a family trip

Recently stayed with my young children and adult family members. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and had lots of space for our family. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare meals. The cabin was very close to Strasburg Railroad and other activities.

Excellent Stay!

The nine of us stayed at Ken's place & it was perfect! Lots of room & kids had their own space with numerous things available to keep them entertained. Ken was an absolutely wonderful host, very accommodating & full of great stories! Beautiful area, everything was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place

We recently stayed at Spring Acre log cabin. The pictures on the website didn’t do the place justice. It was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. My husband and I stayed with our adult children and their spouses and we had a wonderful time. Our host, Ken, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place and hope to visit here again ourselves.

Great family gathering place

The spacious log cabin/ house was immaculate, well furnished and supplied! The game room was a great bonus! The owner was on site and very willing to help in any way needed. My family enjoyed hiking in the woods adjacent to the property. Highly recommended!

What a great place!

Beautiful place in the country! Nestled right among the Amish, but still very private. The cabin was super clean!! Plenty of towels and washcloths. All the bedding and accommodations were perfect. Nice array of dishes, etc. The children loved the basement! Met the owner who was very friendly and helpful! Less than 10 minutes from Sight & Sound which was very nice! Thanks for a great stay!
