Yes, the Eiffel Tower & Arc de Triomphe are a little bit further away across the center of the city, but such easy walks to Le Marias, or Notre Dam / Isle St.Louis, or St Germain for that matter. The flat was well-appointed with everything one would need, and a grocery store was just a short distance away for any other needs. Would reiterate previous comments that the washer dryer was a little complicated even with Thomas going over it with us and would recommend possibly leaving written directions for renters. The location, while a little distance from the city center was only one short block from the metro as other have mentioned. We purchased a three-day metro card and were able to get around everywhere very seamlessly. There are several restaurants close by including a great Asian food place we ordered takeout from one evening when we did not feel like going out. It is on the second level above the street on a very busy road, so there will be some road noise at night. But, it is a pleasant, vibrant street, so we really did not mind. Since we are American and everything was in French, a little difficult to use the appliances. It would have been helpful to have some written instructions in English for the appliances.
