Accommodation and restaurant really good. Low season we had no trouble parking but I can see parking being tight when budy. Restaurant had live music at night. Good location, everything was fine.

If staying at Khlong Prao Beach, would recommend staying here. Nice quiet complex of bungalows. A slight bit dated in the rooms in spots, but very spacious, comfortable, and clean. (The bathroom is VERY spacious!). Beach towels and carrying basket provided. Breakfast was terrific - lots of variety and some items changing each day. Pool is lovely; beach area not very crowded. Dinner near the bar as the sun set was very relaxing and picturesque - and food options very good, too (try the green curry!). Staff very helpful arranging transfer to Trat airport, an afternoon snorkeling and swimming trip from Bang Bao pier, and a scooter rental another afternoon (definitely rent a scooter!). Very enjoyable time in Koh Chang and at the Barali; would stay there again!

The road to Khiri Phet Waterfall on Koh Chang. Hidden in the Thai jungle, Khiri Phet Waterfall is a peaceful gem on Koh Chang. If you rent a motorbike to tour the island, I highly recommend making the trip to this waterfall. It's at the end of a tiny, unmarked, palm lined lane, along a jungle path, over a shin deep stream, through an abandoned rubber plantation and up a small rocky slope. The upper pit of the falls is very deep and has a strong back current, so unless you're a good swimmer, keep your feet on the ground. #outside #outdoor #thailand #asia #waterfall
