"My son and I enjoyed a very pleasant two night stay at Wangshanyuan during our Great Wall hike in October. The room and property were both quite comfortable and clean and within walking distance of the main Mutianyu Great Wall entrance. The personal care and hospitality of the Yang family was excellent! We arrived very late due to our flight and I especially appreciated that Mrs. Yang stayed up to make sure there was a tasty hot meal waiting for us when we arrived. Her home cooking is very good Beijing food. Our host was also kind to inquire about our itinerary and offered various helpful tips, as well as transportation options to our next site."
