The Black Bear Manor is located close to Ouray's main street. The rooms were clean and cozy. The breakfast was good and hearty. The only negative was the Happy Hour wine treat ended 45 minutes early before we could enjoy a glass of wine, we assumed the staff wanted to leave work early, disappointing.

Fantastic small hotel managed by a wonderful mom and daughter duo. Really cool boutique property with great bar, restaurant and spa. Made our stay in Ouray very memorable. Would 100% go back and stay there.

Beautiful place. Riverfront balcony is the best. Will be back soon.

My sister and I stayed two nights here and really loved so many things! It is an older hotel right on the main drag so very convenient to shops and restaurants. Parking right out front on the street was easy and always available or you can park behind the building. Kudos to front desk person, Brittany, who sent time working on our reservation through Expedia. She also was just very kind and helpful. We loved the vibe here! There’s even a lounge room with couches and music we hung out in a couple times m. We even played BANANAGRAMS on a table on there. The Tavern is their restaurant and we had delicious meals and cocktails. Our room would have been the best if we had had a little fridge and microwave. Some rooms do. We got in the hot tub one night! Lovely overall.
