The room (and the entire hotel) felt like it was falling apart from neglect. Leaking ceilings, cracks in walls, a shaky elevator. I was literally nervous every time I stepped into the elevator. The humidity was super high due to the rain, but the AC unit in the room couldn’t do anything to remove the moisture. It felt like I was literally lying on a wet mattress. To say the least, I was excited to check out.
