# Raco de Mar Beach Tours

![It is a large fine sand beach, surrounded by sand dunes.
Many people come the weekend but it is very nice and quiet from Monday to Friday, even in August!
There is a few "chiringuitos" to take the "cañas" on the beach and a wide variety of restaurants in the maritim promenade, wich is pedestrian and ideal for a walk after dinner or running first time in the morning.

The room itself is basic but clean and functional. Sadly, it’s very noisy if you have a room facing the main road. I was on the 2nd floor and heard nothing but traffic, shouting from passers by and sirens all night, every night. If you’re a light sleeper or not used to city noises, that’s not ideal. There was also a small cockroach in the bathroom was, while I appreciate they’re everywhere, wasn’t pleasant. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location and the staff are all great.
