The resort was just short of a failed attempt of attempting to be great. The room was updated but there were these teeny tiny bugs that were running a muck on the counter tops. I noticed the outer linen was not clean. Day 2 I decided to grab a bite and have drinks at the bar, I left a 20$ bill on the counter/dresser under TV and cleaning person took it. No it was not a tip and no I didn’t intend on having my room cleaned. Over all the resort needs investors, it could really be nice. The food was good, the staff (other than cleaning person) was kind. The bar had great Tequila. I guess I fell short on my research bc the seaweed took over the beach so it was closed and the sulfur smell was horrific initially. You have to use car service to leave the resort and I’m not sure if they come that far. Nonetheless, I relaxed without a spa and other resort amenities I’m used to. I’ll say they tried.
