"Wonderful beachfront resort with excellent staff and amenities. We just returned from a 4 day stay and the only downside was that the trip was not longer. Large spacious rooms, lovely well kept grounds, super friendly and helpful staff, great selection of restaurants and food and daily activity programs. Highly recommend this beautiful, well run resort. "

"We’ve stayed at dozens of luxury hotels all over the world, and the Lux Grand Gaube is up there towards the very top of the list. The hotel design is jawdroppingly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is 1st class- excellent variety and quality of dining options. Plenty of tasty veggie food. The live cooking stations are at the top of their game. The beach is spotless, plenty of spaces to relax, clear water, plenty of water activities are included. "

"All the staff were so helpful and kind to my elderly friend. We absolutely loved staying here. Facilities are amazing, people are beautiful, the scenery is outstanding and food and cocktails were plentiful!!! Would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting a special holiday in Mauritius. "This is the most incredible hitel i have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything is first class, food, rooms, staff, surroundings, entertainment, drinks, watersports -free. Sunsets are the best. Literally, i would go back in a heartbeat. There is not one thing i would change. Book a sea facing room between room 400 -430. Perfect ground floor rooms, with a terrace and a perfect location and view of the sunset. Book it!"

"Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)"

"From being welcomed at the hotel to the final check out the staff were so friendly and went that little bit extra to make sure our stay was an amazing one. The choice of food and drinks were great and we were able to book the speciality restaurants with ease. Pools were great along with the choice of water sports that were included. We would like to say a big thank you to Angele who did a great job in looking after us in the Nirvana part of the hotel and Sheila who kept our room spotlessly clean. Also Klea who made sure we always had a drink in Latitude and Owen who worked at the bar there and also in Jade with his drink recommendations. Bayo also made sure we had food and drinks around the main pool. So a big thank you to these and all others that made our stay as special as it was. Hoping to return in the future. "

"The service was excellent, some pieces of furniture in our room should have been replaced given their condition, but the property overall was great. The food in the restaurants was good, but somewhat overpriced."

"The resort is fantastic. We had a wonderful time there for the 9 days we were there. The food is delicious, the beach is beautiful and the resort has quite a lot of fun activities, some of which included if you have the right package. The hotel has taxis nearby which are needed every time you want to go out as it is quite far from anything else than the local beach and golf course."
