“The room was average, but the staff were rude, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. They ignored us, never greeted us, and made it clear we weren't welcome. Breakfast was poor—one egg was rotten—so I skipped meals there to avoid food poisoning. They focused on telling us about inconveniences like the closed pool and broken gate, and that we should leave before 10:00 on the last day. I cannot recommend this place; the owners are unsuited for hospitality.”

“Lovely Characterful property in heart of Lucca. The staff were very helpful and quick to move us to a different room due to plumbing issues . The breakfast was good with a variety of choices . We were in good walking range to tourist sites and also very close to a very good pizza takeaway !”

“Mirko was a fantastic host and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The shower had great water pressure, and I loved the light cotton towels, which dried very quickly. My window overlooked a secluded private garden, and on warm nights I could leave it open and fall asleep to the sound of crickets, then wake up to birdsong in the morning. It felt like being in the middle of a forest. There is also a wall……

“We stayed in the Lavender suite, which was a large room with high ceilings and the view from the windows was beautiful. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was good. There was no kettle in the room but there is a kitchen where we were able to make a cuppa and we had a fridge for water etc. The property is right next to the main anfiteatro but the room was quiet. We woke to birds tweeting in the morning. Oh, and there is a very cute, snoring dog!”
