Smaller on the size, but the design was beautiful! And the pool was very clean.
The bathroom door didn’t shut without being pushed, and one of the beds frames was slightly cracked, but other than that, no complaints.
The food choices were pretty good, and the Blue moon ice cream shop had so many options!
Everything closes pretty early during the week, so check times to plan your day out!

"Amazing house! Meagan and family have really thought of everything. The beach was large and the kids had a blast playing wiffle ball in the sand. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was large and included so many tools, including a fun s’mores box for the beach. We can’t wait to come back! "
"Beautiful location with lots to do, great vacation spot. It may be my favorite beach town in Michigan so far. They have the nicest staff and make everyone feel very welcome and appreciated. Holiday inn express always has a high standard of cleanliness and comfortable beds."
"The owner provided a lock box code, so that we could access the front door key. A ring door bell camera system is available to communicate with the owner, but we did not use it. Joe reached out to us several different times by phone and text to make sure that everything was going okay. The Lake Huron beach at the cottage is not a swimming beach, but offered many days of peaceful relaxation. The kitchen had everything we needed for our week long stay. The town of Harbor Beach is located within a 20 minute walk. Several nice and inexpensive restaurants with good food can be found within a 20 minute drive. We recommend Boondocks and Lewisville BBQ."
"We had such a great time at this Port Austin cozy cabin. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a beautifully landscaped yard with both a side and back deck, there is also a fire pit, a horseshoe pit, and a basketball net in the driveway. I was impressed by the cleanliness, and we truly had everything we could need and more: washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, fridge, air fryer, waffle maker, full kitchen utensils, stacks of towels and extra blankets... The beds were very comfortable too. I slept great every night! This cabin was close to everything too, tons of beaches to check out, and Sandy Dunes was a must visit. My daughter loved the kindness of the host hanging a "Happy Birthday" banner for her. I can very easily recommend a stay here, and we would love to come back next summer. "

"Great place to stay, clean, quiet. Saw deer almost every night in the yard. Close enough to walk to downtown if you want. Shirt drive to the beach and break wall. Definitely would stay again. Host was fantastic, great communication and very helpful. "

"We were in town for a family wedding and we could not have been happier with our stay. The location makes it super easy to walk to town. My mom stayed at a hotel in the middle of downtown and she walked over or I walked over to her countless times a day. Shops, ice cream, putt-putt golf, kayaking, the beach, and the break wall- so many things you want in town are all right here. We ate dinner on the back deck a few times and we had s’mores one evening over a little fire in the fire pit. The rooms were comfy and I always appreciate a house with blinds in all the windows. The kitchen met our needs except the one thing we wished for was a different cutting board- the glass one gets slippery when cutting produce. Other than that we have zero suggestions. This house is PERFECT! "

"Plenty of room for our multigenerational family group. Bedrooms were spacious & quiet- we had two babies with us. Perfect location to explore beaches & places to kayak-short drives to each. Port Austin market on Saturday morning was great. Port Crescent Park beach was nice as well as Harbor Beach. Saw all 3 lighthouses in county. Bad Axe only 25 minutes away or Dollar General 5 miles away for incidentals. And the best…ice cream shop 1/2 mile away-can walk or ride bikes! Kid friendly place. Host was exceptional, friendly, & easy to contact & responded back quickly. Would definitely stay again!"
