"Upon checkin, greet guests with amenities first, not rules or what they can't do. Just something I noticed. Nice clean grounds, pool, and peer. Room though small, was sufficient for the night. Slept well and loved the hammock. Again, clean grounds."

"The furnishings are worn. The second bedroom is only suitable for small children. The house is only a few metres from a busy main road with noisy traffic. The beach is unattractive. The water is too shallow for swimming. And the house is NOT in the “historic centre” of Portobelo, which is several kilometres away and consists of the ruins of a fort and a church. We were so disappointed we left after one night."

"The property should have been cleaner, (floors, stairs, furniture, shower mats) Not enough towels or wash clothes. the sofas need to be replaced they were so dirty i did not want to sit on them. Could have used a few more pots and pans. We had a couple of problems that Gabriel was quick to remedy. (one of the beds came apart, and a bathroom toilet needed to be fixed) both taken care of the very next day. There were not any dressers to store your clothes. The house was roomy, and has the...
