This hotel has an awful, rude, lazy, and incompetent staff.
We accidentally left a bag with our belongings in the room, and during the cleaning the housekeeper threw the bag away in the trash.
As soon as we noticed that the bag was missing, we immediately went to the lobby and reported that the bag had disappeared and must have been taken during the cleaning. We asked them to find it. We were simply told that it had been thrown away and that the garbage had already been taken out.
There were absolutely no apologies. Nobody made any attempt to look for the bag or recover our belongings, and nobody expressed any regret about what had happened.
We were made to understand that this was considered completely normal, that our problem was of no interest to the hotel, and that throwing away our belongings was apparently acceptable to them. There were no apologies and no attempt whatsoever to recover our things.
Naturally, there was no question of any consequences for the housekeeper who had thrown away our belongings. We were simply told that there was nothing they could do.
This was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. The way the hotel handled the situation showed a complete lack of responsibility, professionalism, and respect for its guests and their property.
