"This was a terrific Country Inn with a beautiful garden area, pool and veranda overlooking the beautiful Italian countryside. We didn't know that their restaurant closed Sept. 14 for the season but we enjoyed dinners in the nearby city of Perugia."

"Very clean room. In old bank building. You take multiple elevators to get to your room which is funky but fun. Staff at desk is fabulous. Breakfast was best we had in Italy "

"Our host Guiseppe was attentive and engaging. Although we didn’t access the pool, we accessed the area and as every pool area with foliage and droppings would have benefitted from a twice daily cleaning. The weather in late September was magnificent. The area is green and very hilly, but so Italian with its green abundance of foods and wines. We loved the older traditional furnishings, clean sheets, towels and hot water. Our accommodations suited our purpose of exploring the architecture and art provided in Perugia, which did not disappoint. Please be warned that the distance to the city of Perugia from Villa Nuba is not for the faint of heart. It is quite a climb, first by an unsafe winding road and then by multiple steep steps to reach the city on top. However, taxis are readily available.Thank you Guiseppe and staff for a delightful vacation."

"Extraordinary lodging in an upscale two-bedroom apartment owned by an upperclass family. Complete with an enormous library of books reflecting an English literature professor and his brother(?) a judge.Very classy!Of course you do have to climb six flights of stairs, but so what? I did it twice a day, and I’m eighty five!"
"Very good hotel - restaurant provides good cuisine at reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet outstanding quality. Only ‘complaint’ was lack of walk in shower. Bath with hand held shower difficult to navigate as panels too high and no grab rail. However pluses far outweigh the negatives. For those - like us - using Perugia as base to c
