It has been renovated and furnished to a high standard while keeping its period cottage feel. We enjoyed hearing from the owners about the renovation process and the history of the cottage and the Old Vicarage. There are good walks around the village and further afield, and Presteigne and Knighton are interesting small towns. The location of this place was really good for exploring Wales. A beautiful period home, with a very functional kitchen. Paul and John were great hosts and again the location was wonderful. The cottage itself is lovely and rustic, yet has a gorgeous modern bathroom - so best of both worlds really! It is in a nice, quiet location but with ease of getting to places - if you do actually manage to make it out! Truly a wonderful place to relax for a few days, highly recommend. ##### Anna P. It was like stepping back in time for the few days we spent there & it was warm & cosy too .... even with the snow outside. Had a great time & really enjoyed our stay. ##### Phil C.
