"The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We were in Greece for 3 weeks and no bed matched this one. Location was good and it was quiet. Wi-fi was fast.
We had issues with hot water, it was lasting for maybe 5 minutes. Towels were minimal and quite worn. During our stay (3 nights) we did not experience any housekeeping services. The garbage can is quite small so we would find a dumpster on the street."

"Lovely property with small pool and breakfast included. Room was very clean and well equipped. Stayed in September, so not too busy. Summer may be different. "

"I spent nearly 40 years writing about travel, so I know a thing or two about hotels. Filanthi is a special place in every way. Yes, the sea is right outside and there’s a great restaurant below, but it’s far more than that. This building has been in the same family for many generations (see story in photo) and is now run by a young woman named Eugenia, who has done a flawless job of preserving the charm of her great-grandfather’s home while blending it with artistic, modern touches, for example, the way the beautiful bathroom tiles conjure hillsides of olive, citrus, and sage.
She has also introduced comfort elements not typical of Greek hotels. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—nothing like the traditional board-like fare—and the shower was the best I experienced in four weeks of traveling through the Peloponnese. Every detail is unique and thoughtfully chosen; she should be proud of the years of work that went into creating such a space.
There was a complimentary bottle of local wine in the room that I didn’t try, and though I never ordered one, my sea-view double came with a balcony cat who was charming and excellent company. My only suggestion: I hope she soon drops “The Project” from the name. In my experience, the hotel is already complete—elegant, well-finished, and deeply memorable."
Villa Kamaria Luxury villa with private swimming pool, terraces, valley and sea views.
10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautiful, high quality villa set in stunning surroundings. It is impeccably maintained and Joke and her husband the owners are very friendly and attentive and keep the place extremely well. The pool is an excellent size and being full flood design stays almost completely clean for the whole week. Swimming in there in the morning with the sun rising and reflecting over the pool is just magical. The location is perfect being only a few minutes drive from Finikounda and a superb beach, and only a few minutes more drive to Methoni. There is a short stretch of track to get to the property but even that has been much improved since our last visit.Highly recommended"
"This is a lovely spot nicely situated on a hill in an olive grove with a view of the harbor yet only minutes to the the tavernas and beaches that you will want to visit. There are three villas but detached so they are quiet and private, each with its own pool. The space is spotless and the housekeepers come every few days to do a quick tidy and provide new linens and towels. The AC is quiet and efficient though with the breezes I only used it a few times. I was there for 2 weeks at the end of August and enjoyed the sunshine and stars at night. I will definitely recommend this sweet spot to friends."
"Very nice clean modern room. Great bed. Right off the kentro/village square. Easiest way to find it is if you're facing the Alfa bank in the square turn left go up couple of steps and right in the first alley. It's on the left"
