Incredible view and lovely setting off the beaten path

We loved our time at Genari Beach. The location was even nicer than we expected, Anna the hostess was quick to respond to our needs, and Ancient Olympia was only 45 minutes away. We watched some magnificent sunsets while hanging out with friendly cats. I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5 because of some details that I hope get fixed (because then the place will be awesome!). It needs better signage. (It was easy to find once we found it the first time, but we had a really tough time as night was falling.) It needs more cookware and a better coffeemaker. And it needs more hot water. I still totally recommend the place! It is charming and rustic and relaxing, and I would stay there again.

Einfach super! Jeder Zeit wieder!

Ruhige Lage. Nette Vermieter. Einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen und entspannen bei einem wundervollen Abendessen auf der schönen Terrasse mit einem unglaublichen Blick aufs Meer.

Super Lage direkt am Meer

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Die Lage des Objektes ist super, genau das richtige um mal im Urlaub den Seelenfrieden zu finden. Das einzige Mango, die Bilder von der Umgebung sollten mal in der Beschreibung aktualisiert werden. Aber im gesamten ist dieses Objekt empfehlenswert. Danke für die schönen Tage!! LG

Non siamo in grado di leggere la recensione della proprietaria, in compenso vi inviamo la nostra. L'accoglienza del primo momento è stata cordiale. La cordialità è scemata non appena abbiamo chiamato la Signora per farle rilevare le molteplici carenze: - il frigo con grosse incrostazioni di ghiaccio non era stato né sbrinato né pulito bene dopo gli ospiti precedenti - il bicchiere portaspazzolino conteneva l'acqua stagnante del precedente uso e colature di dentifricio sul bordo - le piastre elettriche della cucina avevano un contorno di grasso e sporco. La Signora sosteneva che ciò era causato dal salso proveniente dal mare. Viviamo in città di mare e non abbiamo mai notato niente di simile. Lo sporco veniva via facilmente, e questo ci sembra un inequivocabile segno di incuria. - la luce molto fioca della lampada centrale, posta alle spalle di chi cucina, proietta l'ombra della persona stessa impedendo così la vista sul piano di lavoro. Manca del tutto la cappa con relativa illuminazione. - nella doccia mancava totalmente un appoggio per i prodotti da bagno. Per accedere alla doccia bisognava praticamente scavalcare il WC, e pure per prendere un asciugamano dopo la doccia, per non parlare dello stato generale di trascuratezza di tutto il bagno. Particolare comico: sulla porta del bagno era stato segato uno scanso per schivare il lavandino. - la nostra decisione di prenotare era stata presa già in Gennaio sulla base delle foto presentate sul sito homeaway fra le quali appariva una spiaggetta di sabbia a disposizione dei soli clienti. In realtà al posto della spiaggetta abbiamo trovato soltanto delle rocce aguzze, impraticabili per una persona anziana. La Signora, interpellata al riguardo, ha sostenuto che tre settimane prima una mareggiata aveva portato via tutto. Crediamo che un fatto fondamentale come questo andrebbe comunicato in anticipo al cliente. Le foto pubblicate sul sito mostrano comunque un appartamento con stanze e cucinai tutt'altro livello. Abbiamo comunicato la nostra decisione di partire all'indomani. Così abbiamo fatto nonostante avessimo pagato con largo anticipo il soggiorno completo. Non c' è stata nessuna reazione e non abbiamo più visto nessuno né alla sera né al mattino e abbiamo lasciato l'appartamento completamente ignorati dalla proprietaria. Di quanto sopra possiamo mettere a disposizione la documentazione fotografica. Ci riserviamo comunque ogni azione.

Ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt. Ich hoffe, dass wir bald wieder kommen können.

Es ist ein toller Ort um zu entspannen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Auch die Eigentümerin ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist zwar einfach eingerichtet, uns reichte das aber völlig aus. Hoffentlich bald mal wieder.

Genuine Relaxation

Genari apartments generates genuine relaxation. This well equipped apartment is right on the waterfront. Whether it was watching the evening sun reflecting on the fall leaves of their vineyard, snorkelling at their private beach, or watching the sunset over the rocks, we were simply breathing in everything this rural area of Greece had to offer. Our only regret was not staying longer than three days. Thank you, Anna, for your helpful local suggestions.

Perfect Hideaway

Perfect apartment for cozy quiet vacation, far away from everything. Very nice garden, private stone beach (with easy acces into water). Appartment is simple but very functional (kitching with not only 4 plates, 4 spoons... - have lot of things). Host very nice. Highly reccomend this property
