handy for town, decent breakfast, nice room, quiet
On street parking close by. Only saw staff in morning at breakfast. Room was clean and roomy but one or 2 items needed maintenance. Bathroom light switch was intermittent, sink plug .Bed was comfortable and breakfast was basic with lots of processed packet food Ok for an overnight.
Good value for the cost. Very comfortable bed, high end bathroom and a tasty continental breakfast. Was disappointed that the spa wasn't open despite being advertised as such, and advanced arrival details would have been helpful.
Stayed here for 2 nights on the way back home to UK from Southern Spain. Located in a nice quiet location a short walking distance to town which has good facilities and an abundance of restaurants and places to eat; there is a large well stocked supermarket close by. We were able to park our motorcycles securely on the fully enclosed front forecourt which was good. We stayed in a compact bedroom in the basement which had a very large comfortable bed with quality sheets and good pillows allowing a good nights sleep. The room also had a very large, TV which we could watch films in English by pressing the ‘change language’ button. Breakfast was simple: toast, coffee, jam orange drink (not juice) and small cakes which was fine for me as I don’t eat big breakfasts. Be aware that this is in all honesty a B&B and not a hotel as there is no bar or communal areas to relax an is only staffed in the morning for breakfast so nothing to eat or drink at the property in the evening. The hosts were charming and helpful but, with every honest review, there are a few minor observation to comment on; the Spa was not in operation which is a shame and should have been mentioned as this was a facility that attracted us to this accommodation and we would have used after a long days riding in the Picos mountains, and the fact that it is really a B&B I felt the price slightly high compared to other places we stayed on our 3 week road trip. If the spa was in operation I would definitely stay again
Jacqueline was the most amazing hostess while we were there. She had our coffee and our tea ready for us every morning and she was so polite and so nice great stay comfortable room great location as we use the train and bus stop easy to walk out of town Rienosa is a fabulous town.

This hotel states check in from 08.00.
What they don't say, is reception is open 8-10. You have to contact the day before to speak about check in. I did not see, hence did not do this.
The hotel did contact me 48 hours prior to check in for payment, they could have mentioned their policy then.
Hence, upon arrival, there was nobody at the hotel and the 2 phone numbers provided in reception were switched off.
We had to book alternative accommodation at extra cost....
Room was like in a dungeon, damp smell, sheets felt damp too, bathroom had mould in, I will credit staff being helpful but the quality of our room was terrible and my 10yr old daughter was a little taken back as never stayed anywhere like that

Property was quirky but comfortable the only real issue was having to contact the owner in advance to give an eta. Contact was difficult for us as the emails were in Spanish and I’m not a fluent speaker and the contact telephone number was not working
On arrival there was no one to obtain a room key from if it hadn’t been for very helpful guests who helped us with contacting the owner we may have needed to find another place to stay
