Car Rental Adventure Bay

There's lots on offer in Adventure Bay, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding region at your own pace. Add these fantastic destinations to your travel schedule:

• Head to Kamloops for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Roughly 50 miles from Adventure Bay, it's home to loads of great sights, including Aberdeen Mall.
• Why not see all that's on offer in Mount Baldy too? Unmissable sights in this happening city include Mount Baldy Ski Area. Mount Baldy is about 75 miles from Adventure Bay.
• Venture into the outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Upper Hot Springs. You'll find it approximately 180 miles from Adventure Bay.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Canada, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before getting behind the wheel. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental car.
