City Centre is full of fun adventures, but don't limit yourself to one place. Rent some wheels and head off to explore the surrounding area. Here are some places to consider:

• Make tracks to Victoria for an excellent sightseeing adventure. About 60 miles from City Centre, it has loads of great attractions, including British Columbia Parliament Building.
• Why not see the best of Nanaimo too? Notable attractions here include Woodgrove Shopping Centre. Nanaimo is around 50 miles from City Centre.
• Chesterman Beach is around 140 miles from City Centre and is one of the region's most gorgeous nature spots. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the fresh air here.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Canada, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car.
