“People is nice”

“The owner of this hotel is very enthusiastic. When he heard that I was in Vancouver for the first time and brought three luggage and a schoolbag to the airport in the evening, when I had some difficulties, he drove to the airport to pick me up in the rain. The next day breakfast at that time, the boss personally went to the kitchen to make delicious meals for the tenants, which moved me. Although I haven't stayed in the hotel for a long time, only one night, I still impressed.”

“Nice location, 5min.walk to the sky train station. Beautiful neighborhood, with supermarket, cafe and restaurants all in walking distance. Good breakfast service. The only thing that we experienced was the towels got unpleasant smell perhaps as we learned on the arrival day that it had been raining for the past days. And the room was bit small which was intended for up to 3persons. What we liked most was the sound-proof of the rooms, which is excellent for a beautiful Victoria-style house. ”

“This is probably the best b&b that we have stayed at in quite a while. Easy to get to, close to the White Rock waterfront too. The full breakfast was a great surprise with some good healthy options. ”

While the bedding and cleanliness didn’t fully meet expectations due to the last-minute preparation, we were still able to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful ocean view. The breakfast we had been looking forward to was kindly offered free of charge, which we appreciated. Seeing the host working hard and sincerely left a strong impression on us. Wonderful small talk!
