Car Rental Europa

Once you've checked out all of the well-known places in Europa, there's heaps more to explore in the surrounding area. Grab the keys to a rental car, throw your bags in the trunk and get out on the open road. These are some road trips we know you'll love:

• Head to Ouro Preto for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. Roughly 50 miles from Europa, it has lots of amazing attractions such as Tiradentes Square.
• Your next stop? Consider Divinopolis, which is around 55 miles away. Shopping Pátio Divinópolis is one local draw card you really shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the outdoors and take in the serenity at Forest Garden. You'll find it around 210 miles from Europa.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Brazil, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before you drive away. You typically can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with a rental car.
